Shakeemah AMINA

Shakeemah began her professional career as a Financial Banker at a large bank after earning her degree in Business Administration with specialization in accounting. She rose through the ranks and became a highly regarded Bank Officer Executive within the company, thanks to her unique expertise in financial analysis, financial planning, business planning, strategy, and risk management. She brings this experience as a Tax Strategist.

After two decades of working in the financial services industry, A short time in Healthcare Pharmaceutical and other business endeavors,  Life happened, Shakeemah realized that she was worth living a life she loved on her terms beyond motherhood, with a passion for financial tax planning and Serving Clients. She decided to further her education in order to navigate complex tax laws, & regulations studying for her Enrolled Agent Examination.

Prior to her relocation to NYS from NJ, Shakeemah was an active member in a number of professional organizations and communities including the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA), National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), (NAWBO) National Association of Women Business Owners, Shakeemah consistently helps within her community, and have given her time and effort to the YMCA NJ, Habitat for Humanity. She volunteered in a religious organization called S.A.F.E (sisters acquiring female etiquette) an organization for girls age 5 thru 18.

Outside of work, Shakeemah enjoys spending time with her 6 children, family, traveling, and Quiet time for reading or gardening. She is in the works for launching a Podcast focused on Self-Worth and Net Worth called She’s Building Wealth.
